Everyone has heard the jokes bashing punters, kickers and long-snappers. The "specialists" have been the punchline for football-related jokes for as long as game as been played

A few weeks ago as Virginia Tech began to finally mesh, head coach Justin Fuente caught a few chuckles when referring to his junior Punter as a weapon.

Fuente wasn't kidding, though, and he was right.

"He's certainly become a weapon," Fuente said.  "I think he's a testament to his work in the weight-room... he takes everything we do seriously and is reaping some of the benefits of his hard work in the offseason."

While there are so many players seemingly evolving in real-time to maximize their potential and help Virginia Tech surge into the AP Top 25, with an ACC Coastal Crown looking as a realistic possibility, Bradburn's contributions can't be understated.

Time after time, the Australian native has boomed punts with accuracy and precision. For a young defense that struggled mightily early, field position can make the world of difference.

For now, the Hokies have the top punter in all of college football. If they are going to continue the momentum and soar to Charlotte to battle for the ACC crown, Bradburn will be a key reason to Virginia Tech's success.
