Mallory learned of his offer from head coach Neal Brown during a visit back in mid-January and is expected to make a return trip to Morgantown in the near future.
"I loved the WVU atmosphere and the experience," Mallory told Mountaineers Now. "What stood out the most is how well I fit their offensive scheme and their goals as a program. When the head coach offered me I was very excited because I worked very hard for it and it's a coaching staff I would love to play for."
Mallory does not have a set timetable for a decision, but as he alluded in his tweet that could be made relatively soon.
