Virginia Union Safety Transfer William Davis Signs with West Virginia

The Mountaineers scoop up another veteran piece for the secondary.

West Virginia head coach Rich Rodriguez and defensive coordinator Zac Alley dip into the Division-II level to add to its secondary, announcing the signing of former Virginia Union safety William Davis.

This past season, Davis collected 13 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and one sack. During his three years with the Panthers, Davis registered 37 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, two interceptions, two passes defended, one forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.

He will have one year of eligibility remaining.
