WVU Pro Baseball Tracker: Numbers at the All-Star Break

In the majors
Michael Grove, RHP, Los Angeles Dodgers
It's been a rough year for Grove who has an ERA that is pushing seven at 6.89 through 11 games (8 starts). Opposing hitters are hitting .302 against him and he's allowed nine home runs already this season. He does, however, have a strong strikeout per nine rate of 8.2. If he continues to struggle as a starter, a move to the bullpen may be in store.
Alek Manoah, RHP, Toronto Blue Jays
Manoah's downfall has been well-documented. He finished third in the AL Cy Young voting last season, only to follow that up with a demotion to the Florida Coast League thanks to a miserable first two plus months to the season. Manoah made his return to the bigs on Friday and got the win over Detroit. The quality outing lowered his season ERA from 6.36 to 5.91.
John Means, LHP, Baltimore Orioles
Means continues to work his way back from an elbow injury that has kept him sidelines since April 2022. The team believes he will return this season and is eyeing a return in August, per multiple reports.
