Jameson Williams gives injury update during Alabama Pro Day

NFL scouts didn't see wide receiver Jameson Williams take part in any on-field drills during Alabama's Pro Day, but they did get some good news on the player.
Williams said he's healing on time and offered a timetable for his return.
"Everything's going real well right now," Williams told SEC Network. "I'm about 10 weeks out of surgery, I got a little five- to seven-month span on when the recovery is going to go. But everything is going real good. I'm getting real good motion, just real good workouts, and just getting back on my feet.
"That's the main part, just getting back on my feet and getting back ready to play football. It's exciting going through the process.
"It's not frustrating, because I get to see some of my guys with lifelong relationships get a chance to do it. I'm just excited to be in the building. I got a chance to be in the building and talk to some guys, talk to some coaches. It's just all been a dream, just living it up really. This is a great experience."
Williams went down with the non-contact injury during the College Football Playoff national championship game against Georgia.
Williams began his career at Ohio State, catching three touchdowns in 10 games over two years before transferring to Alabama. Head coach Nick Saban quickly named Williams as a starter, and he earned first-team All SEC honors as a wide receiver after scoring 15 TDs while covering 1,572 yards and averaging almost 20 yards per catch.
The injury means Williams likely won't go in the Top 10 of this year's NFL Draft, as most scouts had originally forecasted. But his successful surgery, proven production, and recovery up to now should relieve teams of any worry they may have had.
