Georgia football running back Kenny McIntosh was arrested early on Sunday morning on misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and failure to wear a seat belt, according to Athens County (Ga.) jail records.

The player was then released on a $2,000 bond, according to UGASports.com.

McIntosh was reportedly driving with former Bulldogs wide receiver George Pickens and the two were involved in a non-injury collision with another vehicle. The two were returning home after attending a pre-draft party with Georgia teammates.

According to The Athletic, the driver in the other car in the accident had to be taken to the hospital.

"McIntosh's car was going 60 mph in a 40 mph zone and collided with another car at around 4:05 a.m.," according to the report

"The driver of the other car 'was complaining of leg and chest pain, and at one point lost consciousness on scene' and was transported to a hospital."

McIntosh is expected to compete for leading reps with the Georgia backfield this football season alongside running back Kendall Milton.

He's coming off a junior season in which he led all UGA backs with a 5.7 yard per carry average while rushing 58 times for 328 yards and three touchdowns.

A former 4-star prospect in the 2019 college football recruiting class, McIntosh emerged as a top 200 player nationally and a top 15 running back prospect. He has 753 career yards and six touchdowns in three seasons at Georgia.
