Arizona Diamondbacks One Win Away From NLCS Thanks to Historic Offensive Effort

In this story:
The Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-2 on Monday night to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the best-of-five National League Division Series.
The D'Backs are now one win away from advancing to the National League Championship Series while the Dodgers are one loss from elimination.
Once again, the Diamondbacks were paced by an offense that got going early. They scored three runs in the first inning off starter Bobby Miller, just one game after scoring six runs off Clayton Kershaw in the first.

Considering it hasn't happened in more than 20 years, that's very impressive by the D'Backs, who were picked by most experts to be done in the National League wild card round.
Arizona had eight hits in the Game 2 win, including getting multi-hit efforts from Ketel Marte, Lourdes Gurriel Jr. and Tommy Pham.
Christian Walker hit a sacrifice fly in the first while Gabriel Moreno had an RBI groundout and Gurriel Jr. singled.
Game 3 of the NLDS will be played at Chase Field on Wednesday night.
First pitch is set for 9:07 p.m. ET as Lance Lynn (LAD) pitches against rookie Brandon Pfaadt (ARI).
Lynn went 13-11 this season with a 5.73 ERA while Pfaadt went 3-9 with a 5.72.
