The Minnesota Twins beat the Houston Astros on Sunday night 6-2 to even up the American League Division Series at 1-1.

If the Twins can win two of the next three, they will head to the American League Championship Series.

While Pablo Lopez's historic start on the mound in Game 2 will get numerous headlines, the performance of Carlos Correa at the plate loomed large as well.

The shortstop, who re-signed with the Twins this past offseason, went 3-for-4 with three RBI in the win. He added a walk and is now hitting .533 through four postseason games this year.

The performance also continued his move up multiple impressive lists in baseball history.

Per Sarah Langs of MLB.com:

63 postseason RBI for Carlos Correa, tying David Justice for 3rd-most in postseason history, behind only:

Bernie Williams: 80

Manny Ramírez: 78

Correa has played in 83 postseason games in his career. In those 83 games, he's a .285 hitter with a .356 on-base percentage. He's clocked 18 homers with his 63 RBI.

He helped lead the Astros to the 2017 World Series title and also got the Astros to the World Series in both 2019 and 2021, which they lost.

Also from Langs:

most games with 3+ RBI, postseason history:

Carlos Correa: 8

David Ortiz: 8

Bernie Williams: 7

Game 3 of the series will take place on Tuesday afternoon at Target Field.

First pitch is set for 4:07 p.m. ET as Cristian Javier (HOU) pitches against Sonny Gray (MIN).

Gray got the win in a wild card series game last week against the Blue Jays.
