The Rangers enter play on Wednesday at 80-64 and 0.5 games up on both the Blue Jays and Mariners in the battle for the second wild card spot in the American League.

Overall, including his season with the New York Mets, Scherzer is 13-6 with a 3.77 ERA. He's struck out 174 batters in 152.2 innings.
He's in his 16th year with the Diamondbacks, Tigers, Nationals, Dodgers, Mets and Rangers. He's an eight-time All-Star and is also a three-time Cy Young award winner.
The Rangers will have a critical game against the Blue Jays on Wednesday night. First pitch from Rogers Centre is set for 7:07 p.m. ET.
