The event has become one of the best events on the baseball calendar. It's a great way to continue to grow the game around the world and it breaks up the monotony of a long season, while uniting kids and players from around the world.
The Little League Classic showcases the very best of the sport as kids get to meet their heroes and as big leaguers get a chance to reconnect with home towns, home countries and their childhoods.
For example, during Sunday's festivities, we saw the Phillies rallying behind the Little League team from Pennsylvania and Joey Meneses signing autographs for the team from Mexico, where he hails from.

While the Tigers are just 57-67 this season, they could be an interesting team to see play in Williamsport next season. They are armed with some of the best young talent in baseball with position players Riley Greene and Spencer Torkelson. They also have promising young pitchers like Matt Manning, Tarik Skubal and Casey Mize. If those pitchers can be healthy next season, they could be on display for the Little Leaguers in 2024.
The Yankees entered play on Sunday at 60-63 but they are always a big draw and will be welcome at the Classic next year because of stars like Gerrit Cole.
