Former MLB Executive Talks About St. Louis Cardinals Playoff Chances

In this story:
Though they are still in last place, the St. Louis Cardinals are coming. The Redbirds swept the Boston Red Sox last weekend have won nine of their last 11 games.
They are now just six games out of first place in the National League Central (behind the Brewers) and accomplished something very cool last night in a win over the Dodgers.
The Cardinals are now turning heads nationally, with our own Brady Farkas predicting them to win the division on 'The Payoff Pitch' podcast and noted baseball personality Jared Carrabis talking them up on Twitter.
And former MLB executive Jim Bowden discussed their chances early Friday on MLB Network Radio on Sirius XM. You can hear his full comments below, but there is a partial transcript available as well:
"They're good enough to get there. They have a really good offense. They're good enough defensively, and they have a lot of depth...They have an answer for any injury on the field... This team will go as far as the starting pitching takes them."
