Here is Vegas' Over Under Win Total Projection for the 2023 New York Yankees

BETMGM recently released its over/under win totals, now available for betting.

The casino has the New York Yankees at 95.5 wins, the second-highest total in Major League Baseball behind the Houston Astros.

The Yankees won 99 games a season ago, en route to their second American League East division title since 2012. It was the most wins the Yankees had posted in a single season since 2019, when the club won 103 games.

The club signed All-Star starting pitcher Carlos Rodon to a six-year, $162 million contract over the winter, in hopes of solidifying the club's rotation. Frankie Montas, who the Yankees acquired at the trade deadline last summer, will undergo shoulder surgery and will be sidelined for most of the 2023 season.

The Yankees did not re-sign outfielder Andrew Benintendi, who received a five-year, $75 million contract from the Chicago White Sox. The Yankees still appear to be figuring out left field. The club has engaged in trade talks with the Pittsburgh Pirates centered around outfielder Bryan Reynolds.

The Yankees should benefit from Major League Baseball's new schedule, where teams will play less games against division opponents. Now each club will play all 29 other MLB teams, each season. The AL East was a gauntlet last season, with four of the five teams in the division — the Toronto Blue Jays, Tampa Bay Rays, Baltimore Orioles and Yankees — posting winning records.

The Yankees can win three fewer games from a season ago, and still finish at 96 wins, above the 95.5 win threshold.
