Here is Vegas' Over Under Wins Total for the 2023 Chicago White Sox

In this story:
BETMGM recently released its over/under win totals, now available for betting.
The casino has the Chicago White Sox at 84.5 wins.
After winning their first division title in 13 years in 2021, the White Sox took a major step back in 2022. As the heavy favorites to repeat as division champs, the club finished 81-81 and failed to reach the playoffs. The White Sox regressed by 12 games from 2021 to 2022.
Manager Tony La Russa stepped away from his role with the club due to health concerns, opening the door for the White Sox to hire Kansas City Royals bench coach Pedro Grifol to fill his shoes. Grifol is the White Sox' third different manager in four years.
Under Grifol, the White Sox hope to return to the postseason. However, the club lost its longest tenured player and 2020 American League MVP Jose Abreu to free agency, as the first baseman signed a three-year contract to play for the reigning World Series champion Houston Astros. The White Sox also replaced starting pitcher Johnny Cueto with Mike Clevinger, who is currently under investigation by Major League Baseball for domestic violence and child abuse, but as of now, is allowed to still participate in baseball activities.
The White Sox' biggest move of the offseason came in the form of a free agent signing. The club shelled out five years and $75 million to outfielder Andrew Benintendi. It is the largest free agent contract in White Sox franchise history.
The White Sox likely will not benefit from Major League Baseball's new schedule, where teams will play less games against division opponents. Now each club will play all 29 other MLB teams, each season. The AL Central was the weakest division in the American League a season ago. The White Sox will play fewer games against weak teams in their division.
The White Sox would need to improve by four games in 2023, in order to hit the over on 84.5 wins. The Sox really did not make many major changes to their roster. The plan appears to be to run it back, and hope that the club stays healthy, hits more home runs (after finishing near the bottom of the league in long balls in 2022) and bounces back to what it was in 2021.
Here's a list of all 30 teams' over/under win totals from BETMGM.
