2023 Team Canada World Baseball Classic Roster

Team Canada has finalized its roster for the 2023 World Baseball Classic.Managed by Ernie Whitt, Team Canada will include Major League Baseball players Freddie Freeman, Tyler O'Neill, Cal Quantrill, Abraham Toro and Bo Naylor. Here's a look at the Canadian National Team's full roster.

Team Canada has finalized its roster for the 2023 World Baseball Classic.

Managed by Ernie Whitt, Team Canada will include Major League Baseball players Freddie Freeman, Tyler O'Neill, Cal Quantrill, Abraham Toro and Bo Naylor. MLB Hall of Famer Larry Walker will serve as the team's first base coach.

Canada went 0-3 in the last World Baseball Classic in 2017, losing to the Dominican Republic, Colombia and the United States. Whitt's team hopes to make serious improvement in 2023, and win its first WBC championship.

Canada will be competing in Pool C in Phoenix, Arizona against Colombia, Mexico, USA and Great Britain, Mar. 11-15.

Canada will play its first game Mar. 12 against Great Britain.
