Seattle Seahawks QB Excites Mariners Fans with Wardrobe Choice During Epic Interview

In this story:
Seattle Mariners fans were very happy on Thursday when an awesome interview with Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith dropped.
Why?
Because as the popular quarterback was talking with Charissa Thompson, he was wearing a Seattle Mariners hat! And not just any hat, but the new "City Connect" hats that dropped this season. While some Mariners fans don't love the black pants that accompanied the uniforms, the hats have generally been praised.
Popular Mariners "X" user @MarinerMuse said "the hat is fire" on social media, and Mariners fans definitely agree.

It's always fun when athletes embrace an entire city and Smith definitely has. As he's worked to rebuild his career, becoming a starter in Seattle, he's clearly taking it all in - and he's playing well too.
The Seahawks went 9-8 last season and made the playoffs, losing to the San Francisco 49ers in the first round of the playoffs. They are off to a 4-2 start this year.
Unfortunately the "City Connect" hats didn't lead to the same success for the M's this season. They finished third in the American League West at 88-74 and missed the playoffs on the second-to-last day of the season, finishing 1.0 game back of the third and final wild card spot.
The Mariners will have higher expectations next season as they look to contend again in the deeply talented American League West. As for the Seahawks and Geno? They'll put their 4-2 record on the line this weekend when they play the Cleveland Browns at home.
