Minnesota Twins' 2023 Official Regular Season Schedule

MLB schedules will look quite a bit different in 2023, as each team will play the 29 MLB teams for the first time in baseball history. Here's a look at the Minnesota Twins' entire schedule for the 2023 Major League Baseball regular season.

The Minnesota Twins are now less than two months away from Opening Day.

The Twins will open the season in Kansas City, playing the Royals, before traveling to Miami for a three-game series with the Marlins.

The Twins will play their home opener at Target Field Thurs., April 6 against the Houston Astros, before the Chicago White Sox come to town. Then, they'll travel to New York and Boston for a pair of three-game series against the Yankees and Red Sox.

For the first time ever, the Twins will play a series against each of the other 29 Major League Baseball teams. All 30 teams will play a series against each other, for the first time in baseball history. The hope is that it will generate more fan interest, as star players from the opposite league will appear at the city's home ballpark every other year. Twins fans will get a chance to see stars Manny Machado, Juan Soto, Xander Bogaerts and Fernando Tatis Jr. when the San Diego Padres visit the Twin Cities in mid-May.

The schedule change will also provide help to teams that play in hypercompetitive divisions. It will not aid teams like the Twins, who might be playing in the American League's weakest division, the American League Central, in 2023.

The Twins are coming off 78-win season, in which they led the American League Central for much of the season, before collapsing in the final two months of the season. After re-signing Carlos Correa and adding Christian Vazquez, Pablo Lopez and Joey Gallo, the Twins hope to compete for the division title in 2023.
