Joe Rogan Reacts to USADA's Split From UFC: "They're Wrong"
Joe Rogan has weighed in on the UFC breaking away from its partnership with USADA.
USADA had been the official anti-doping agency of the UFC since 2015. Things are changing, as the relationship is officially off starting in January 2024. USADA CEO Travis Tygart issued a statement revealing the promotion would be moving on. Tygart also took aim at the UFC, mentioning Conor McGregor's re-eligibility fiasco and Rogan's recent negative comments about the agency.
UFC EVP and chief business officer Hunter Campbell fired back at Tygart, claiming USADA could face legal ramifications over the statement. Campbell also criticized the agency for failing to create a whereabouts app to track athletes during their partnership.

During a recent fight companion edition of his JRE MMA Show, Joe Rogan reacted to the nasty split between USADA and the UFC.
"They said they were doing it for Conor McGregor, so they could get Conor McGregor and not have to test him," Rogan said. "That's what they insinuated, which is not true because Conor McGregor entered into the USADA pool and supplied two tests so far. So, they're wrong."
Rogan also suggested that the absence of USADA should create less of a burden for the UFC fighters.
"The problem was they were waking guys up at 6:30 in the morning on their f****** weigh-in day," Rogan said. "They were doing crazy s*** like that trying to get samples the day of the fight."
