Kevin Holland and Jack Della Maddalena shared the Octagon at Noche UFC on September 16.

The two shared the Octagon inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Going into the bout, Holland was hoping to extend his winning streak to three. He had back-to-back finishes over Santiago Ponzinibbio and Michael Chiesa going into this weekend's clash.

As for Maddalena, he was on an absolute tear ever since his first two pro MMA bouts, which were both finishing losses. He entered his welterweight clash with Holland riding a 15-fight winning streak. In 11 of those wins, Maddalena scored a KO or TKO, and he also had two submissions.

Maddalena threw out a leg kick early, but Holland answered with a low kick of his own. Fans inside the T-Mobile Arena made it clear that they were on Holland's side. Holland briefly got a hold of a clinch and landed a knee to the body. Maddalena moved inside and landed some punches on his opponent. Two leg kicks were there for Maddalena, followed by a head kick. A right hand landed for Maddalena. Holland was active, throwing out kicks and punches. He landed a right hand over the top near the end of the opening frame.

Holland demonstrated great volume in the second stanza. He ducked out of the way of a right hand, and blocked a high kick. His boxing was quite a effective. Maddalena answered with a good combination that started with a leg kick. Holland shot in for a takedown, but didn't get it. Holland landed a right hand, and ate a leg kick shortly after. At the end of the round, Holland caught a kick and landed a punch.

A clean right hand landed for Maddalena early in the final round. He then landed a right hand. Holland responded with an elbow. An elbow from Maddalena landed late before the final horn sounded.

This one went the distance, and it was a split decision. Two of the three judges scored the fight for Jack Della Maddalena, who earned the victory as a result.
