A potential employer usually looks for a resume, cover letter, and references as the three main objectives when applying to any job, whether sports-related or otherwise.

But for Michael Wojo, a 28-year-old based in Toronto, Canada, and a UFC fan, he took matters into his own hands, literally.

Wojo strives to work for the promotion one day, so much so that he took out a full-sized billboard asking the UFC to consider him for a role with the sport's No. 1 MMA promotion.

Sportsnet's Aaron Bronsteter noticed and tweeted it to his 82,300 "X' followers Saturday during UFC Vegas 84, the promotion's first card of the year.

"Michael Wojo, a 28-year-old who resides near Toronto, took out a billboard ad outside of the UFC offices in Las Vegas with the hope that @danawhite sees it and hires him for a job with the promotion," Bronsteter wrote. "Best of luck, Michael!

At press time, Wojo's account was created in December and has reached 18 followers, but he continues pushing whoever he can to notice or acknowledge his billboard.

The story has since been picked up by the Las Vegas Review-Journal and gotten the attention of MMA journalists Keith Shillan and Amy Kaplan.

Wojo picked up a radio appearance in Las Vegas on 98.5 KLUC, where Chet Buchannon will plan to interview him Tuesday morning.

While this story is still developing, and it is unclear whether Wojo will get his foot in the door with the UFC, it has certainly taken on a life of its own.
