The Frenchman continued his tear through the lightweight division at Madison Square Garden.

Benoit Saint-Denis added another fantastic finish to his highlight reel when he took on Matt Frevola at UFC 295.

Even with a pair of sensational title fights at the top of the card, many fans felt heading into UFC 295 that the lightweight bout between Saint-Denis and Frevola promised to be one of the most entertaining bouts of the entire night.

Frevola entered the evening on a tremendous run of three first-round knockouts, while Saint-Denis had stopped all four of the opponents he faced after dropping his UFC debut against Elizeu Zaleski in 2021.

The lightweight contest had Fight of the Night written all over it, but the matchup ended up lasting less than two minutes.

With Frevola on the retreat, Saint-Denis landed a perfect head kick that put “The Steamrolla” flat on his back before he absorbed several brutal follow-up punches from the Frenchman.

The fantastic result followed Diego Lopes´ first-round finish of Pat Sabatini that kicked off the main card of UFC 295. The prelims for the event also featured several impressive finishes, including Jamall Emmers' 49-second knockout of Dennis Buzukja in the first fight of the night.

Frevola entered the night ranked at #14 in the UFC’s lightweight rankings, but Saint-Denis should find himself with a number next to his name next week after picking up his fifth finish in a row and the most impressive win of his UFC career.
