Who Will Take Home Governor's Cup Calf Roping Championship?

As the Governor's Cup quickly approaches at the end of the month, tie-down ropers are gearing up for their last chance of the 2023 regular season to earn significant money towards National Finals Rodeo qualification.
Most of the athletes in the field are safely sitting inside the top-15 and have already punched their ticket to the NFR in December.
However, there are a few left in the lineup that still remain on the NFR bubble. To add to the nerve-racking end of season dramatics, 15th in the world, Zack Jongbloed, is not in the lineup for Sioux Falls. Which could mean the end of his season.
To make matters more interesting, Luke Potter is right on Jongbloed's heels in 16th with $99,276. With less than $1,000 keeping Potter out of the top-15, the youngster is certainly going to be gunning it in Sioux Falls.
