After enduring the rockiest stretch of his NBA career, Kyrie Irving has emerged on the other side of the crucible. The polarizing point guard recently signed a multi-year contract with the Dallas Mavericks and a new sneaker deal with Anta.

Naturally, Irving is ready to preen in the wake of his recent victories. On Sunday afternoon, Actor O'Shea Jackson Jr. asked his Twitter followers who had the highest-selling signature shoes. It took Irving less than an hour to respond in a resounding fashion.

Irving touted the success of his now-defunct signature Nike sneaker line by spilling some serious tea and promoting himself as an all-time great. Irving claimed the Nike Kyrie line generated $2.6 billion in revenue over the past seven years.

Irving continued, "I can safely say I am one of them ones out here in the competitive shoe market, dominating." While many people rightfully critique much of Irving's rhetoric, there is no debating his unassailable popularity in the basketball world.

Irving represented Nike on the court from his rookie season until this year. However, his controversial rhetoric, deemed antisemitic, resulted in an eight-game suspension and the cancelation of his signature sneaker line with Nike in December 2022.

Yet, his performance basketball shoes remain popular at all levels of basketball. But the real test will be when he officially switches to Anta next season. The Chinese brand's shoes are hard to find in the United States and are nowhere near as popular as Nike models.

After missing most of the 2021-22 season and the drama of this most recent season, it looked like Irving could be on the verge of never playing again. However, the 8x NBA All-Star is back in the good graces of the league - and he is ready to break his silence.
