One of the most unbelievable stories in sports is Bronny James' miraculous return to the basketball court. Less than six months after suffering a cardiac arrest during practice, the freshman guard made his first NCAA start for the USC Trojans on Saturday night.

The Trojans lost 68-58 to the Colorado Buffaloes, and it was far from James' best showing. The 19-year-old true freshman went 0-7 from the field, finishing with zero points and two rebounds in the Pac-12 conference matchup.

However, that does not take away from the major milestone in his career or the fact that he used the opportunity to pay homage to his father, LeBron James, by wearing the Los Angeles Lakers forward's newest signature sneakers in a player-exclusive colorway.

A detailed look at the Nike LeBron 21.

Bronny wore the Nike LeBron 21 in an exquisite 'USC Trojans' colorway. The hoop shoe sported an off-white upper, white midsole, gold laces, and a cardinal outsole. The USC and Nike co-branding provided the finishing touches to an already iconic colorway.

Unfortunately for athletes and fans, the 'USC Trojans' colorway will not be released to the public. However, online shoppers can choose between several new and retro sneakers from the Nike LeBron signature line on the Nike website.

In September 2023, the Nike LeBron 21 was unveiled to the world. The performance basketball shoe was designed to serve the next generation of hoopers and is inspired by LeBron's daughter, Zhuri James. The low-cut profile offers premium lightweight materials modeled after the properties of an oyster shell.

The Nike LeBron 21 does not get the same level of love as its predecessor, but it is quickly growing on sneakerheads. Bronny and LeBron are driving up hype for the model as the father-son duo continues to make sneaker history. Stay locked into FanNationKicks.com for all your footwear news from the sports world.
