WWE NXT Results [8/11/26]: Zilla Fatu Attacks Waller & Montana in Shock WWE Debut

Another member of The Bloodline has officially made their WWE debut. Zilla Fatu took out both Grayson Waller and Cruz Montana on Tuesday night's episode of NXT.

With NXT Heatwave quickly approaching, things are in fact starting to heat up on Tuesday nights.

Multiple championship matches have now been made official for the upcoming Premium Live Event, which will be held on Sunday, August 30 from the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, Texas, but we still don't know who will be challenging for the NXT Championship.

Grayson Waller made his surprise return to NXT a couple of weeks back and challenged everyone in the men's locker room to step up their game. Waller and Cruz Montana had the crowd chanting "this is awesome" as they battled to become the next challenger to Tony D'Angelo. Neither man would emerge victorious, however, as Zilla Fatu would hit the ring and take both of them out.

News had surfaced earlier in the day Tuesday that the son of the late, great Umaga, and cousin of Jacob Fatu, had signed with WWE. He made a major impact on his first night in the company, and sent a message directly to everyone in the locker room, especially Tony D'Angelo, that he's coming for the NXT Title.

Kendal Grey wasn't medically cleared to compete following her underground win over Lola Vice last week, but she was still in the right frame of mind to finally give Kelani Jordan her first ever opportunity at the NXT Women's Championship at Heatwave. Also, Grey's good friend Wren Sinclair will get another crack at Zaria's NXT Women's North American Championship after her match Tuesday night did not go her way.

Here's everything you may have missed from Tuesday night's edition of NXT from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

  • EK Prosper & Lizzy Rain defeated Izzi Dame & Niko Vance. Shawn Spears was a no show for the match, but Prosper stepped up as a last-minute replacement. EK picked up the victory for his team after hitting Vance with a shining wizard, moonsault combination.
  • After doctors informed Kendal Grey that she wouldn't be cleared for another week or so, Kali Armstrong and Kelani Jordan had an in-ring argument over who would be the next challenger for her NXT Women's Championship. Grey would soon interrupt and offered the match to Jordan, who signed a contract for NXT Heatwave.
  • Dion Lennox defeated Saquon Shugars. Lennox attempted to use Saquon's baseball during the match, and that distracted the referee long enough for Cutler James and Osiris Griffin to slam Shugars into the announcer's desk. They then rolled him back into the ring, where Lennox pinned him.
  • NXT General Manager Robert Stone and Lucha Libre AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio discussed plans for Rey Fenix to defend his AAA Cruiserweight Championship on a future episode of NXT.
  • Zaria defeated Wren Sinclair to retain the NXT Women's North American Championship. Zaria was able to take advantage of a backstage brawl between Saquon Shugars and DarkState, which spilled out into the ring during her title defense. After Sinclair removed Cutler James from the ring with a drop kick, Zaria hit her with an F-5 to pick up the win.
  • Kam Hendrix defeated Mason Rook. The big man grabbed Hendrix for a Blue Thunder Bomb and the top turnbuckle pad got ripped off in the process. Hendrix then scored the upset victory after he sent Rook crashing head first into the exposed steel.
  • Lucien Price defeated Lexis King. Much to the shock of BirthRight, Price muscled up King for a one-armed chokeslam and pinned him after a relatively quick match.
  • Robert Stone booked NXT Women's North American Champion Zaria and NXT Women's Speed Champion Wren Sinclair in a title unification match at NXT Heatwave.
  • La Parka, EK Prosper, Romeo Moreno and Tristan Angels will compete next week in a AAA Cruiserweight Championship No. 1 Contender's Fatal 4-Way Match. Shiloh Hill will also return to action next Tuesday night, and Lexis King will put his NXT Men's Speed Title on the line against Lucien Price.
  • Grayson Waller and Cruz Montana wrestled to a no contest after Zilla Fatu made his NXT debut and attacked both men. As a result, no No. 1 Contender for the NXT Championship was determined.
