Look: Demond Williams Jr. leads Basha over Saguaro 35-31 in Arizona state championship rematch

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA - Demond Williams Jr. put on a show Friday night. 

In a rematch of the 2022 Arizona Open Division football state championship game, Williams Jr. led Basha to a thrilling 35-31 victory over Saguaro. The four-star Arizona QB commit racked up 403 yards of offense - 218 passing and 185 rushing - and accounted for all five Basha touchdowns. 

Williams Jr.'s fifth and final score of the night came on a 42-yard, game-winning touchdown pass to Noah Roberts with just over four minutes to play.

Saguaro quarterback Mason Bray passed for 186 yards and three touchdowns.
