AJ Anderson of Paradise Valley voted the WaFd Bank Arizona Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week

Congratulations to Paradise Valley’s AJ Anderson for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Arizona Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 29-Feb. 4.
Anderson, a junior guard on the Paradise Valley team, has stepped up for the Trojans, averaging 22 points, five rebounds and two assists per game over their past five contests.
Anderson received 34.56% of the vote, beating out Andy Saeva, a senior on the Mountain Ridge team, who finished second with 26.21%. Adrian Stubbs, a sophomore on the Maryvale team, was third with 13.19% and Jack Engelthaler, a senior on the Basis team, was fourth with 7.84%. There were more than 26,000 votes tallied this week.
