Congratulations to Raymond S. Kellis’ Nevaeh Limbacher for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Arizona Girls Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 5-11.

Limbacher, a sophomore on the Raymond S. Kellis team, went a clutch 4 for 4 from the free throw line late in the contest and had eight points and five blocks for the Cougars in their 56-51 win over Sunrise Mountain in a region title contest.

Limbacher received 98.59% of the vote, beating out Audrey Bhesania, a sophomore on the Sandra Day O’Connor team, and Navae Guidry, a junior on the Mesquite team, who tied for second place. Ahdiayh Chee, a senior on the Dodson team, Jayda Haley, a freshman on the Sabino team, and Lamaiya Woodberry, a sophomore on the McClintock team, tied for third place.
