LITTLE ROCK - The girls portion of the 15th annual Centennial Bank High School State Wrestling Tournament concluded on Saturday afternoon at Arkansas-Little Rock’s Jack Stephens Center. 

Har-Ber won the 6A state title with 156 points edging Rogers’ 152. Searcy finished the tournament with 194 points to win the program’s second-straight state championship and the third in the past four seasons.

In Class 6A, Fayetteville’s Katie Palmer (140) defeated Central’s Jayla Spring by sudden victory to win her thirdconsecutive state championship. Rogers Heritage’s Skylur Lewis (155) also won her third straight title by defeating Har-Ber’s Serena Valentine by fall in 1:51.

Bryant’s Presley Givens (145) and Fayetteville’s Margaret Jordan each repeated as state champions. Jordan won the 170 class over Rogers’ Alexa Wolf - who earned a trip to the finals by defeating two-time defending champion Archer Jones of Har-Ber - via a 10-3 decision after taking the 235 last season. Givens defeated Har-Ber’s Callie Parrish by fall in 1:25.

After winning a state championship with Cabot last season, Searcy’s Alena Williams (115) won a 5A title with a victory over Hot Springs Lakeside’s Katelyn Wallace by fall in 47 seconds. Mountain Home’s Amelia Frounfelter (155) won her second state title in three years defeating Acorn’s Emery Anderson by fall in 1:12.
