BURLINGTON -- The Burlington-Edison Tigers, the No. 1 ranked team in Scorebook Live's most recent Class 2A boys basketball coaches poll, beat Meridian 79-53 Tuesday night in a Northwest Conference matchup.

Erik Altenhofen led Burlington-Edison (10-1, 4-0) with 16 points, and Logan Wright added 13.
