Here are the candidates for the Scorebook Live Southern California boys basketball player of the week for Jan. 20-26, as nominated by fans, readers and Scorebook Live’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Players from the Southern, LA City and San Diego Sections are considered. Voting will conclude on Thursday at 11:59 p.m and the winner will be announced Friday morning. Adrian McIntyre, Saugus: McIntyre had a double-double for Saugus, scoring 31 points and grabbing 10 boards to go along with 4 assists and 5 steals in a 81-56 win over Hart.

Brandon Perez, Notre Dame (SO): Perez dropped 30 points to help Notre Dame defeat Burbank 99-58.

Rondell Moore, Fremont: Moore led the way for Fremont, netting 32 points in their 85-82 victory over Crenshaw.

Keith Dinwiddie, Fairfax: Dinwiddie netted 38 points in Fairfax's 88-29 victory against Venice.

Rudy Suarez, Covina: Suarez put up 41 points in addition to 5 steals and 5 assists in Covina's match up with Baldwin Park.

George Ochoa, La Mirada: Ochoa had a 21 point, 10 rebound double-double in La Mirada's 59-40 win over Bellflower.

Ben Shtolzberg, Notre Dame (SO): Sctolzberg's 27 points (including the game winner), 9 rebounds, and 7 assists led Notre Dame to a 91-90 OT victory over Chaminade.

ClarkSlajchert, Oak Park: Slajchert dropped 31 points, snagged 6 boards, and dished out 7 assists in Oak Park's 47-31 victory against Simi Valley.

David Cheatom, University: Cheatom netted 28 points, 9 boards, and 3 swats for University in their 71-68 OT victory against Hamilton.

Peyton Watson, LB Poly: Watson had an efficient 33 points (10 for 16) to go along with 6 blocks as Long Beach Poly defeated Taft 68-48.

DJ Davis, Poly: Davis led the way for Poly with 27 points in their game against Rancho Christian.

Josh Christopher, Mayfair: Christopher dropped 39 points for Mayfair in their game against Birmingham.

Marland Harris, Westchester: Harris' double-double of 18 buckets and 12 boards helped Westchester to a 52-34 win over Colony.
