PUYALLUP — Damani Green makes it a point to always be in the ear of his teammate Cayden McDaniel.

McDaniel, a freshman who exudes a maturity on the court beyond his years, and Green, Wilson's grizzled senior leader, combined for 41 points in the Rams' 81-66 win over Evergreen (Vancouver) in the 4A West-Central Bi-District title on Saturday afternoon.

The two have helped Wilson (21-2, No. 1 RPI) conquer the 3A Pierce County League (by a four-game margin), the bi-district tournament and now hope to make a deep run entering the regional round and 3A state tournament.
