Kiki Rice, Taylor Hendricks headline SBLive's all-tournament teams from 2022 State Champions Invitational
TAMPA, Fla. - Over the last three days, eight of the nation’s best high school basketball teams - four girls teams and four boys teams - competed at the inaugural State Champions Invitational in Tampa.
Sidwell Friends (Washington D.C.) captured the girls championship with a 50-39 victory over Lake Highland Prep (Florida), and Calvary Christian Academy (Florida) claimed the boys title with a 71-44 win over Auburn (Washington).
After covering the tournament for three days, here are SBLive's all-tournament teams:
GIRLS ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM
Sydney Bowles, Woodward Academy
Bowles led the Lady War Eagles with 24 points and nine rebounds in their semifinal loss to Lake Highland Prep on Friday.
Nyla Harris, Lake Highland Prep
The Louisville signee was a double-double machine for the Highlanders, averaging 11 points and 18 rebounds in the two games.
Kiki Rice, Sidwell Friends
The UCLA signee led the Lady Quakers with 17 points in their semifinal win over Centennial (Nevada). Rice finished with 10 points (all in the second half) in their championship win over Lake Highland Prep.
Jadyn Donovan, Sidwell Friends
Donovan averaged 13.5 points per game in the two games at the inaugural State Champions Invitational.
Sara Lewis, Woodward Academy
Lewis finished with 13 points and went 7-of-11 from the foul line in Friday’s semifinal loss to Lake Highland Prep.

BOYS ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM
Carl Cherenfant, Calvary Christian Academy
Cherenfant led the Eagles with 14 points en route to their first national championship in school history.
Taylor Hendricks, Calvary Christian Academy
Hendricks finished with a game-high 24 points in their semifinal win over Sidwell Friends. He topped that off with 13 points in the championship game and was named the event’s most valuable player.
Brenen Lorient, Calvary Christian Academy
Lorient finished with a double-double (13 points, 10 rebounds) in Saturday's championship-clinching win over Auburn.
Trevon Blassingame, Auburn (Washington)
Blassingame averaged 11.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game in the two games.
Mier Panoam, Norcross
Panoam finished with a team-high 16 points in their semifinal loss vs. Auburn on Thursday.
