KENNEWICK -- Messiah Jones scored 21 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead Kamiakin to a 55-52 victory over Mt. Spokane in the Class 3A District 8 championship game Friday at the Toyota Center.

Steven Westermeyer had 15 points and Kyson Rose chipped in 10 for Kamiakin (19-3). JoJo Anderson led Mt. Spokane with 15 points and Tyson Degenhart added 12.

Mt. Spokane (18-4) will play Kennewick (15-7) on Saturday for a berth in the WIAA state tournament.
