With the 2019 high school volleyball season in full swing, here’s a look at 12 girls volleyball players to watch in the San Diego Section.
Delaynie Maple, sr., Torrey Pines HS

Carly Diehl, sr., Torrey Pines HS
Had 550 assists during her junior year. Committed to Yale.
Madison Endsley, sr., Cathedral Catholic
1st Team All-CIF as a junior, she had 491 kills.
Mia Schafer, sr., La Costa Canyon HS
She had 868 assists during her junior year. Committed to San Jose State.
Sophia Tulino, sr., La Costa Canyon HS
She had 454 kills and 216 kills during her junior season. Committed to Santa Clara.

Brooke Buchner, sr., Bishop’s School
Helped lead the Knights to the State Regional Semifinals. Committed to UCLA Beach Volleyball.
Leyla Blackwell, sr., La Jolla HS
A 2nd Team All-CIF selection as a junior. Compiled 300 kills and 75 blocks. Committed to Indiana.
