Six Southern California girls volleyball teams were crowned SoCal champions on Tuesday and will now get a chance to play for a state title.

Six Southern California girls volleyball teams were crowned SoCal champions on Tuesday and will now get a chance to play for a state championship.

In the Open Division championship No. 1 seed Torrey Pines beat No. 3 seed Mater Dei in four sets. Torrey Pines will play Northern California Open Division champion Marin Catholic for the state title.

Vista Murrieta captured the Division I championship in a five-set thriller, beating Sierra Canyon 25-20, 20-25, 25-20, 21-25, 19-17. The Broncos will face NorCal champion Campolindo for the state title.
