Pacific (Ore.) assistant basketball coach Brant Minor gives advice for recruits: 'Get good grades'

Brant Minor went from all-state choice, to walk-on, to grinding his way through the coaching ranks to stops like Southern Oregon and now, assistant coach at University of Pacific (Ore.).

He joins Friday's episode of The Iso with Dan Dickau to talk about how he grew his love for the game, where his work ethic came from and advice for up and coming basketball players. (That advice: "The best way to give yourself more options is to get good grades.")

The Iso with Dan Dickau is a podcast presented by SBLive Sports and the Bleav Podcast Network, which publishes weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Dickau, a former Gonzaga All-American, NBA vet-turned basketball analyst interviews experts all corners of the sports world from coaches, front office executives to athletes about untold stories, memories and experiences.
