Chol Deng, Fairmont Prep boys basketball: Deng had 28 points and 13 rebounds in Tuesday’s win over Capistrano Valley Christian.
Derek Eide, Silver Valley boys basketball: Eide had 41 points, 18 rebounds, nine steals and eight assists in Tuesday’s win over Lucerne Valley.
Damian Ruiz, Linfield Christian boys basketball: Ruiz had 43 points, knocking down 11 three-pointers, and had six steals against Woodcrest Christian on Friday.
Prince Turner, Lakeside boys basketball: Turner had 34 points and nine rebounds on last week’s four-point win over Moreno Valley.
Dusty Stromer, Sherman Oaks Notre Dame boys basketball: Stromer averaged 30 points per game last week, helping the Knights to wins over Loyola and Alemany.
Lucas Fenske, Moorpark boys basketball: Fenske had 27 points including eight three-pointers in last week’s win over Royal.
Dennis Evans, Hillcrest boys basketball: Evans had a triple double with ten points, 14 rebounds, and 16 blocks against Norte Vista.
Jake Hall, Carlsbad boys basketball: Hall averaged 40 points per game in two league wins last week for the Lancers.
Elijah Newsome, Otay Ranch boys basketball: Newsome had 26 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and four steals last week against Mt. Carmel.
Aaron Fournier, San Pasqual boys basketball: Fournier had 14 points, 15 rebounds and six assists in last week’s win over San Diego Jewish Academy.
Devon Arlington, San Marcos boys basketball: Arlington averaged 29 points per game last week, leading the Knights to four wins.
Jurian Dixon, St. Augustine boys basketball: Dixon averaged 28 points per game across three games last week, helping St. Augustine to three wins.
Cyprian Hyde, Vista boys basketball: Hyde had 25 points, 20 rebounds, and four blocks against Carlsbad last week.
Nathan Cacao, Olympian boys basketball: Cacao had 14 points, 12 rebounds, and four blocks in last week’s league win over Otay Ranch.
Xavier Rubio, Eastlake boys basketball: Rubio had 42 points to help the Titans upset Mater Dei Catholic on Tuesday night.
Yasmine Sharpe-Shropshire, Lincoln girls basketball: Sharpe-Shropshire had 24 points and 15 rebounds to help the Hornets take down Point Loma last week.
Jessica Grant, Mission Hills girls basketball: Grant had 31 points, five assists, four steals and three blocks against Del Norte.
Amoree Ferrel, Xavier Prep girls basketball: Ferrel had 34 points last week against Rancho Mirage.
Sophia Landeros, Patriot girls basketball: Landeros had 23 points, 15 steals, and 13 rebounds in last week’s win over La Sierra.
Maryah Anderson, Claremont girls basketball: Anderson had 34 points in Saturday’s two-point loss to Valley View.
Shanna Brown, Aliso Niguel girls basketball: Brown had 40 points and 15 rebounds in Saturday’s win over Dana Hills.
