Photos and video: San Pedro's Jesse Ferreira discusses 1-0 win over Palisades

San Pedro improved to 8-6 with the victory and Palisades fell to 9-3-1.

SAN PEDRO, Calif. -- San Pedro senior Jesse Ferreira threw a complete game shutout in a 1-0 win over Palisades on Saturday. He struck out six in seven innings allowing three hits and no runs. 

Saturday's game was a pitchers' duel. Palisades starter Mason Edwards pitched all six innings for the Dolphins striking out seven and allowing one run. Gio Crow and Gil Solis each hit fourth inning doubles for San Pedro. Solis had the game-winning RBI.
