ARCADIA, Calif. – Colin Sahlman continued his dominant senior track campaign by winning one of the Arcadia Invitational's signature events – the 3200m (two miles).
The Gatorade national runner of the year and Newbury Park senior ran it in 8:34.99 on Saturday, less than two seconds behind his national high school record of 8:33.32. Only the second-place finisher, his teammate Lex Young, was able to keep it close with the NAU commit. Sahlman talked after the race about his first place finish and competing against his teammates.
