ARCADIA, Calif. – In her first ever Arcadia Invitational appearance on Saturday, Ventura freshman sensation Sadie Engelhardt ran the 1600m (one mile) in 4:35.16.

Engelhardt's time was good enough to not only dominate the competition, but also set a new world record for her age group, and a new record for one of the top track & field events in the country. Afterwards, she talked about the race, the big stage, and how she got to where she's at as just a freshman.
