The St. John Bosco vs. Mater Dei high school football showdown has finally arrived.
The top two high school football teams in the nation kicked off Friday night at 7:30 p.m. from the Santa Ana Bowl in Southern California.

Mater Dei just converted a key third and short and it looks like they'll be able to run the clock out. There's 1:45 on the clock and St. John Bosco only has two timeouts left.

St. John Bosco has the ball to start the second half, but is playing without starting quarterback Pierce Clarkson. According to his father, Clarkson is in concussion protocol and has been ruled out for the remainder of the game.
