Mission Hills senior Santiago Salas voted best running back in San Diego Section football

Salas has been a playmaker on offense and special teams so far this season for the Grizzlies.

Last week, we asked you who you think has been top running back in San Diego Section football through the first half of the 2022 season. And you, the fans, have spoken.

With over 29,000 votes, Mission Hills senior running back Santiago Salas has been voted the top running back.

Over 68,000 votes in total were cast, with Palo Verde Valley running back Xzavier Bejarano finishing roughly 12,000 votes behind Salas.
