Lincoln held Madison to 26 points below their average in Friday's win.

SAN DIEGO -- Senior linebacker Chris Fewell played a large role in Lincoln's suffocating defense on Friday night. Fewell, along with fellow senior David Peevy made their presence known in the Madison backfield including several times during the Warhawks final drive of the night. Lincoln led 14-6 at halftime and held off a few extended Madison drives for a 24-12 final score. The Hornets will resume play in two weeks, making their first appearance in the Open Division playoffs
