Look: UCLA commit Devin Williams leads Corona Centennial past Notre Dame in California high school playoffs

Westwood-bound forward led Huskies to comfortable CIF Souther Section pool play win as Duke pledges Jared McCain and Caleb Foster squared off

CORONA, California — Devin Williams scored 21 points to lead Corona Centennial to an 83-63 win over Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks, California) in CIF Southern Section pool play Tuesday.

Williams, a 6-foot-10 UCLA commit, led a bevy of double digit scorers. Eric Freeny and Mike Price had 17 apiece, Aaron McBride added 15 and Duke commit Jared McCain chipped in 14.

Fellow Duke pledge Caleb Foster had a game-high 33 points for Notre Dame, including all 17 of his team's fourth quarter points.

The Huskies (27-3) are the defending CIF Open Division state champion and the No. 6 ranked team in the SBLive/Sports Illustrated Power 25 national rankings.
