Watch: Cal Sparks, fresh off Nike EYBL national title, dominates at Ballin in the Ballroom

HENDERSON, Nev. – One week after winning a Nike EYBL national championship in Chicago, Cal Sparks Gold (17u) was already back to work.
This time, the squad showed out at the club's own event, taking place during the NCAA live period in a unique setting – Ballin at the Ballroom at The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa.
With a star-studded starting five of Aliyahna "Puff" Morris (Etiwanda), Ryann Bennett (St. Anthony), Tajianna Roberts (La Jolla Country Day), Kennedy Smith (Etiwanda), and Jenessa Cotton (Mater Dei), it's no surprise that Cal Sparks is one of the premier club teams in the nation. All five starters finished in double-digit scoring in their 83-55 victory against Salt Lake Metro Black, a formidable opponent that was otherwise dominant at the showcase but could not push the national champs.
