GAME PREVIEW

Centennial's trip to Las Vegas will be the program's first out-of-state journey, according to longtime coach Matt Logan.

However, it's not the first time the Huskies have played Bishop Gorman. The last time the two teams clashed was in 2014 when the Gaels — led by QB Tate Martell — edged the Huskies 43-42.

Both teams are coming off last-minute touchdown victories last week. Bishop Gorman beat No. 9 Central (Miami) 39-35 in a game that had four lead changes in the last quarter, but a touchdown by Elija Lofton in the final minute helped to keep the Gaels unbeaten.

Centennial defeated Punahou of Hawaii 50-43 thanks to a touchdown connection from Husan Longstreet to Jason Harris Jr. with seven seconds left.
