Carlsbad (10-0)
Led by 5-star QB and Alabama commit Julian Sayin, the Lancers have dominated their competition this year, putting together an average margin of victory of nearly 28 points.
After a heartbreaking 28-24 loss to Lincoln in last year's San Diego Section Open Division finals, they'll be looking to handle Granite Hills Thursday night and earn a shot at redemption in next week's section finals.
Granite Hills (10-0)
The Eagles have had a couple more close calls than their Thursday opponent, but they feature an explosive offense that averages just under 38 points per game.
They will need that high-powered offense to show up once again against Carlsbad if they're to eke out a win, as the Lancers have held seven of their 10 opponents under double-digits this season.
