ONTARIO, Calif. - One year after a 7-19 season, Canyon (Anaheim) girls basketball is your CIF-Southern Section 4AA champion.

After trailing by nine points in the second quarter, the Comanches took down Rancho Cucamonga 52-43 on Saturday at Toyota Center, led by 20 points from Jasmine Prajitno and 16 from her twin sister Justine. Everett Roach and Sofi Majidi scored eight points each for Anaheim, and added 11 rebounds and seven rebounds, respectively.

Zara Ahaiwe and Ndiah Hall led Rancho Cucamonga with 12 points each. Nakia Perkins scored nine points, and Lauren Jensen totaled six points, 24 rebounds, two blocks, and two steals.
