PACE, Fla. - Walter Ford picked up his 10th win of the season as Pace shut out University 2-0 in the FHSAA 6A Baseball Region 1 Final on Tuesday night.

Ford allowed just three hits - all singles - and struck out seven over five innings of work. Tanner Sauls came on in the sixth to pick up the two-inning save. 

Broc Parmer went 2-for-2 with two stolen bases for Pace and Andrew Krevatas belted a double. 

Pace will play Melbourne in the 6A Regional Final in Fort Myers on Friday.
