Jayvan Boggs commits to Ohio State: 'They're WRU'
COCOA, FLORIDA- Coming off one of his best games of the season, Cocoa wide receiver Jayvan Boggs made up his mind on where he wants to play on the next level.
Monday morning, Boggs announced on X, formerly known as Twitter, that he is committing to Ohio State over Florida. The Cocoa wide receiver is a fast-rising prospect who has earned a fourth star on Rivals.
“I love everything about it,” Boggs said about Ohio State. “They’re WRU! Great campus, great coaching staff, great people!”
Boggs has emerged onto the scene this season as one of the Sunshine State’s top receivers. The junior wideout has caught 48 passes for 779 yards and 14 touchdowns. In 2022 as a sophomore, Boggs had 41 catches for 722 yards and six scores.
Last week, Boggs had 170 yards receiving in Cocoa’s 28-3 win over Sanford Seminole.
Consider the Florida product one of the nation's biggest breakout stars this fall - and now he's got a future home in Columbus.
